  • Hire Period: The duration from the delivery to the collection of the skip.

2. Booking and Agreement

By making a booking with Brockley Skip Hire, you agree to the following conditions:

  • You are at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into this agreement.
  • All provided information during the booking process is accurate and complete.
  • The skip will be delivered to the specified address within the agreed timeframe.

3. Payment Terms

Payment for the skip hire service is due as follows:

  • The total cost is calculated based on skip size, hire period, and location.
  • Payment must be made in full prior to the delivery of the skip.
  • We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards and bank transfers.
  • Any additional charges incurred during the hire period will be invoiced separately.

4. Hire Period

The Hire Period commences upon delivery of the skip and ends upon its collection. Extensions may be requested but are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Failure to collect the skip within the agreed period may result in extra charges.

5. Use of Skip

Customers must adhere to the following guidelines when using our skips:

  • Only appropriate waste items should be deposited. Hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
  • Do not overload the skip beyond its capacity.
  • Ensure that the skip is placed on stable and level ground to prevent accidents.
  • Respect local regulations regarding waste disposal.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted to be disposed of in our skips:

  • Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials
  • Chemicals, including paints, solvents, and pesticides
  • Electrical appliances and electronics
  • Medicines and pharmaceuticals
  • Tyres and batteries

Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to environmentally responsible practices. Customers are required to separate recyclable materials where possible. Failure to comply may result in additional disposal fees.

7. Liability

Brockley Skip Hire is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur due to the misuse of our skips. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the skip is used safely and in accordance with these terms.

8. Insurance

While our skips are covered by appropriate insurance, it is advisable for customers to have their own insurance in place to cover any potential risks associated with skip placement and use.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are as follows:

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery may incur a cancellation fee.
  • No refunds will be provided for unused hire periods.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Brockley Skip Hire reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law
